Denise is a PADI Course Director who has certified over 1500 professional & recreational divers.  She’s been diving for over 25 years and holds over 60 instructor certifications, 28 of which are for instructor-level training.  She is an Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and is one of only five instructors for  Underwater Criminal Investigators (UCI) worldwide.  Denise is a Reserve Sergeant for the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, serving as lead officer for the dive unit.  She has trained and worked in partnership with domestic and international dive teams from law enforcement, lifeguards, State, and Federal agencies.

Denise specializes in dive operation reviews and writing OSHA-compliant SOGs for Public Safety Dive units nationwide.  She also performs expert witness and consulting services for dive-related legal projects.  Read Full CV.
